The Delegation of the Republic of Serbia, led by the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, Ms. Biljana Popović Ivković, participated in the High-Level Meeting on the Franco-German Initiative to control illicit small arms and light weapons (SALW), held on December 11, 2018 in Paris. The meeting was chaired by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Ives Le Drian, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Heiko Maas, and in addition to the ministers of foreign and interior affairs of the region, representatives of states and international organizations supporting the French-German initiative and Map road to a sustainable solution to the illegal possession, abuse and trade in light weapons, adopted at the Berlin Summit in London in July 2018.
