The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Nice, headed by Honorary Consul Philippe Mangeard, was inaugurated on Monday December 16. Her Excellency Ambassador Nataša Marić symbolically opened the consulate in the presence of many guests; apart from Her Excellency Ambassador Marić addressed the guests also Honorary Consul Mangeard, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia in charge of consular affairs, Vera Vukićević and Deputy Mayor of Nice , Bernard Asso.

Also present were the Minister of External Relations and Cooperation of the Principality of Monaco, Laurent Anselmi, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Nice, the Chairman of the Committee of French Foreign Trade Advisers, the Director Deputy of the Nice Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vice-President of the Union for the Enterprise of the Côte d'Azur - UPE06, Mr. General Manager of the Monegasque company Mecaplast, Thierry Manni, members of the Serbian diaspora , Father Igor Vujisić, head of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Nice, and Madam Consul Ivana Stanković. At the opening of the Honorary Consulate were also present the Consuls of Tunisia and Russia in Nice, the Honorary Consuls of Switzerland, Luxembourg, Malta, Peru, Norway, Romania and others.
