At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco paid an official visit to the Republic of Serbia on October 7 and 8, 2020. This was the first official visit of HSH Prince Albert II to the Republic of Serbia since diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 2007. In addition to the meeting with President Aleksandar Vučić, HSH Prince Albert II met with the Prime Minister-designated Ms Ana Brnabić. The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić decorated Prince Albert II with the Order of the Republic of Serbia on the scarf. During his stay Prince Albert II visited the National Museum and boheiman Skadarlija Street, while on the second day he visited the nature reserve of the Upper Danube, Bački Monoštor and the city of Sombor in the province of Vojvodina. During the visit a new agreement on economic cooperation was signed between the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Monaco Economic Board.
